Creative storytelling workshop for the whole family

Through forests, over burial mounds in the search of the strong women of the olden age … and up until now Free storytelling workshop at local ancient tombs on North and East Funen In June, you can go hunting in the vicinity of Kerteminde, Nyborg, Svendborg and on North Funen for the stories of the strong women. The last four storytelling workshops take place in Glavendrup, Kalvehavegård, Skellerup and Gudme. All kids, their families and grandparents are invited, when the artists Birgit Løkke and Tine Louise Kortermand take us back to the stories we have not been told. You bring with you a clean beetroot glass, which during a storytelling workshop is transformed into a mini-memorial museum for a strong woman. Each workshop starts at one of the many exciting ancient tombs, where one of the archaeologists from East Funen Museums and Svendborg Museum tells about royal women, völvas and housewives.

You can experience Malene Refshauge Beck, museum inspector and archaeologist from East Funen Museums, Viking Museum Ladby, by the fields at Skellerup church (Nyborg), Skellerup Byvej 46, 5540 Ullerslev on Sunday 19 June at 3 pm to 5.30 pm.
