After work lecture on the Christmas of the Vikings at the Viking Museum Ladby.
The first three Wednesdays in December you can experience a different Christmas event at the Viking Museum Lady. You will have the opportunity to experience lectures at after work hours on how Christmas was celebrated among brute warriors, housewives and mighty kings in the Viking Age. There are no red goblins, Christmas trees or confectionery here, but Christmas parties, Christmas beers, Christmas food, Christmas presents and Christmas fun can all be traced back to the Christmas celebrations of the Viking Age. But also club swinging warriors, human sacrifices, political power struggles and drinking orgies are connected to the Christmas of the Vikings.
Come and hear museum inspector Ane Jepsen tell surprising stories about the Christmas of the Vikings. And join in drinking the Christmas into the Viking Museum with a glass of honey-sweet mead at a cozy lecture.
