Dogs
Dogs are welcome on a leash in the museum’s outdoor area, but not inside the exhibitions and the burial mound. There are ‘dog parking spaces’ in front of the museum and in the outdoor area with a leash hook, dog bags and a water bowl.

The Viking Museum Ladby is located 5 km south of Kerteminde on the shore of Kerteminde Fjord. There is disabled parking and a turning area for coaches right by the museum entrance. You can also take the bus or rent a bicycle at the tourist office Visit Kerteminde. Read more
food and drink
You can buy hot and cold drinks and ice cream at the museum shop for consumption outside. There are tables and benches in front of the museum and in the green area by the mound with a view of Kerteminde Fjord.
You are also welcome to bring a packed lunch.
accessibility
There are disabled parking spaces in front of the museum’s main entrance.
The walk from the car park to the museum building, as well as the walk around the museum’s outdoor area, can be challenging due to the gravel and dirt paths, which, by their very nature, are not 100% level.
The entrance to the Viking ship grave is accessible, with a ramp and a low threshold.
In the basement of the museum building there is a toilet, which is suitable for people with disabilities. The basement is easily accessible with the lift.
Guests with disabilities can also bring a companion free of charge if he/she is in possession of a companion card. Guide dogs are also welcome.
