IN WOOL WORLD
Activities with wool for all ages during the summer holidays
Every Thursday during the summer holidays, the Viking Museum’s volunteer costume ladies invite you inside the wool universe. With colorful Viking costumes the ladies talk about clothes, textiles, and the production of wool in the Viking Age. The Vikings used many different wool techniques such as spinning, weaving, needle tying, felting, and dyeing.
With help from the ladies, interested people of all ages can try to take part in various wool activities.
Come and join us every Thursday at 11 – 15 in weeks 26 – 33.
