for the whole family
Meet the Vikings, hear about the Viking Age and take part in Viking experiences for all ages
You can visit the shooting range and try archery with Viking bows and throw Viking spears. You can also visit the clay workshop and hear about Viking Age ceramic jars, pots, and spindle whorls. Try making your own clay item. The wood workshop is also a big hit among children and adults, where you can try your hand at using a cutting knife with freshly chopped wood.

Price: 20 kr. per acitivity. You can try three workshops for 50 kr.
The shooting range
Try your hand at archery with replicas of Viking Age bows, and see if you can hit the target.

The clay workshop
Hear about Viking Age ceramics and try your hand at making something out of clay. The clay workshop is for people of all ages.

The wood workshop
Try your hand at using a cutting knife with freshly cut wood. Hear what was cut in the Viking Age and how wood was a hugely important material.

Spear throwing
You can also try spear throwing with replicas of real Viking spears.
